Well, what can i say? Where can i start? How can i make this concise. I 1st saw this movie in high school and was blown away by it’s comedy, outrageousness, pushing all limits of the genre and also having social commentary and deeper meanings that we wont go into since this is not a review. And also keeping it within an R rating. I thought to myself back then, man i really want a Frankenhooker tattoo but i want to meet the director 1st (my way or procrastinating getting a tattoo). Then when i moved to the city in 1996 i not only met writer, director Frank Henenlotter but also became his friend for the last 26 years watching movies at his apt about once week, edited his film Bad Biology in 2008 and have been his go to naked man for many blu-ray extras, in the documentary “that’s sexploitation” as well as playing him (totally nude) in the Arrow films blu-ray and MOMA restored version of Basket Case!!!

So when Bowie said they not only do Frankenhooker but would be visiting NYC in Oct and was down to run around Times Square as Frankenhooker, my brain almost exploded. Dream come true.
