Marriage Update

So on the 15th of September 2022, my wedding took place at a local wedding hall near my hometown, Tanta, Egypt.

We, Don & Donna, (officially Ahmed and Samaa) got engaged on the 12th February 2021, got our marriage certificate written on the 23rd of September 2021, and our wedding was on the 15th of September this year.

So a quick recap on how marriage here works; once a man and a woman are agreed to get married, they can have an engagement period to try out the waters with each other (basically to legally date), after that they can get their written on a marriage certificate that is mostly a legal contract but with this paper, the marriage can said to be official and its vows are spoken and confirmed. Some people here combine that step with the wedding but in the social standards of my family, we leave a period where we can do our final preparations for marriage, in my case, it took me a year.

And so, 10 days after my wedding, I guess I am finally back online for my work and everything. I am still having a honeymoon in October but I guess it will be a little bit on the cold side for the weather this year and I'll be indoors writing chapters for you guys.

At the end, I would like to thank all those who made this possible…

You Guys…

As my patrons, you have made an immense contribution by recognizing and supporting my messy fanfiction and other work and have helped me mentally and financially to get past the hurdle thrown at me. Patreon represents the majority of my income and the things I did with this support can't be laughed at.

In 2019, I upgraded my smartphone which I wrote a ton of chapters with. In 2020, I bought my Gaming PC which I also wrote a ton on and I use daily. In 2021, I bought 3 rooms of high-quality furniture for the Master Bedroom, the Reception Area, and the Dining Room. This year I bought half of my Living Room with the other half being provided as gifts from my family but the main attraction of my living room remains to be my gaming chair which I recently purchased.

It is all happiness and joy in my life now, may God bless you all with the same joy I am feeling and keep it for us all forever, Amen!

Finally, I apologize for not adding some photos for my apartment since it's always a hot mess but I at least have some photos from the wedding photo session.

May God bless you and your family.

Well done! We support you because your work is really good and you have written a story that I think a lot of people have wanted to see made (DBS).
