Deep South - Chapter 2
Added 2024-04-19 18:05:21 +0000 UTCIt was the dead of night. The room was quiet. Most everyone was asleep. I was sitting in the cage, thinking. Trying to figure out how to get out of here. I could find a way to get the key, whoever may have it. I could work my magic and sneak my grubby little hands into one of their pockets. I was small and wiry; I bet I could have made it happen. But it would all be for naught anyways. That monster Daisy would destroy me in a heartbeat.
It was no secret that she was the biggest person I had ever seen, man or woman. She could break me apart by accident. She could trip and fall and land on me and that would be the last anyone would have ever heard from me. I was convinced that one of her butt cheeks weighed more than I did. Hell, one of her breasts was probably close.
How did a woman like that even exist? How did she even fit through doorways? Anyways, I’d never make it far with her stomping around. As soon as she caught me, she’d tear me apart, right in front of my girlfriend. I shuddered at the embarrassment of a fat girl beating the shit out of me in front of my girlfriend and friends; my little body shaking and squirming, helplessly trying to defend against this beast of a woman bearing down on me. I would be literally humiliated to death.
But I realized then that I wasn’t the only one awake.
“You, shrimp boy,” came a whisper from the other cage.
I looked over and saw him, a wiry guy with a full beard and a t-shirt. He was sitting in the cage, resting his back against the bars and resting his hands on his baggy jeans. I didn’t love being called shrimp boy, but it wasn’t like we were on a name to name basis, so I took the camaraderie where I could.
“You’re awake?” I asked dumbly.
“Nah, sleep conversing,” he shot back.
“Very funny,” I said. There was a moment of silence. We understood we were from different worlds, and would likely never have gotten along in any other scenario. But this was a unique situation.
“What you in for?” he asked in a whisper.
“Speeding,” I said. “I mean I think it’s speeding. Kind of surprised to be here for something so minor, maybe they’ve got us on something greater that I don’t know about? Maybe one of us is privately a serial killer?”
“Not likely,” he said. “Listen kid, you’ve stumbled upon the wrong side of the country. This county is notorious for crooked cops. I wouldn’t even be surprised to find out these guys weren’t even real cops. Could just be hoodwinked, catch my drift?”
“Are you serious?”
“All true,” he said. “Look, you’ve gotten yourself mixed up with the wrong people. It’s gonna be a bitch getting out of this alive, truth be told. Not many escape this kind of thing once it kicks off, not many at all.”
“You’re saying they’re gonna kill me? For a speeding ticket!?”
“Pipe down,” he said, looking around. “You wake them up, they’ll take you out back and slit your throat. Pop you in the head. Hell, that fat bitch might just sit on you, flatten you to the pavement.”
I never really thought it would all lead to death. Was it possible we had all been captured by psychopaths and were just here to be tortured? What were we going to do? How were we going to get out of this? If I was wrong and this was a legit precinct, I would get in some major trouble with the law, right?
Just then, the door opened, and instinctually, we both flopped down and pretended to fall asleep. A wave of light washed over us, clearly they were still awake outside of this room. It had to be late, but there was no clock in here, so I couldn’t really tell. But it had to be late, didn’t it?
“You swear you heard something?” one of them said to the other.
“Swear, little whispers, like little birds chirping,” said the other, who was definitely the sheriff. “At least they know who the authority is here. They know when the sheriff’s in town, they better straighten up and fly right, and shut the hell up.”
“Did you hear Daisy talking about that little dork?”
“Oh god,” the sheriff said. “That boy better pray she doesn’t get her mitts on him, she’d break him in two.”
“City boy might learn what a real woman feels like,” the other said.
The two of them laughed for a while, then went back into the other room, closing the door behind him. I was left alone, as the other guy either legitimately went back to sleep, or had given up on conversation entirely. My eyes wouldn’t close, no matter how much I wanted to drift away and dream of being somewhere else.
That little dork was one unlucky fella, I kept thinking, praying it wasn’t me.

“I need a shower,” Cassy said to me from her corner of the cage.
We had each taken a corner of the mid sized cage we were trapped in, waiting for our trial to take place. We were in a place of fear, not knowing exactly what was going on, or where this whole nightmare was going. I could tell the other man in the cage was looked at by the girls as the one that could possibly get us out of here. They kept asking him what he thought was going on, what he could do. He was as confident as could be in this situation, and I don’t think there was any malice, but I was a little peeved that nobody had consulted me.
Hell, based on the conversation I had last night, I probably had more knowledge about our current situation than anybody in this cage. But if they weren’t going to ask, I wasn’t going to speak up. They had chosen their leader, and I didn’t want to get in the way of that. I was happy looking to him for solutions.
“We have your uniforms,” came the sheriff from the door.
He barged into the room carrying a box of assumedly clothing. He placed it on the ground in front of us and opened it. They were orange jumpsuits, truly indicative of prisoners. We were being treated like common criminals, despite this just being a speeding ticket. It also implied we may indeed be here for a while.
“Sir, this was just a speeding ticket, I’d be happy to pay-” Trevor started.
“Boy if you were wise you’d shut the fuck up right now,” the sheriff retorted. He looked at the rest of us. “Y’all stink! And you look like shit. We’ve decided y’all need to be showered, so step in line and we’ll take you in for cleaning. We only got one facility in here, so it’s gonna be one at a time. Let’s go!”
The girls were the quickest to line up; Cassy and Wendy had been tugging at their hair and complaining all morning. Trevor got in line after them. I was in the back. Single file, we marched out of the room and down a hallway with one door at the end. The sheriff began explaining what to do with the shower and then what to do with our new clothes, but I think we were all considering the possibility of escape.
That is, until Daisy showed up. She stood behind us, completely blocking our escape from the hallway. My eyes met hers, me staring up at her fat, rosy face. She was staring back down at me as she approached, and stood in my way. My eyes lowered down to her massive breasts, which were eye level to me. It wasn’t even an inappropriate look, she was simply so much taller than me it was a strain to make eye contact.
They were enormous. They were each so much bigger than my head I couldn’t fathom how much they weighed. Her tight uniform was straining with how much they looked like they wanted to break free. I could see the bra outline in her fabric. She was more woman than I had ever seen in my life. Hell, she could probably beat me up without breaking a sweat, so she was probably more manly than me as well.
I snapped my head and quickly faced the front.
“You all got that?” asked the sheriff.
“Yes sir,” they all said, and I repeated but came a little late.
First, Cassy showered. She took a little longer than we were expecting. I hadn’t listened to all of the sheriff’s rules, being distracted by the behemoth behind me, but I knew the sheriff wasn’t a patient man. He tapped on the door twice with his baton, and a few moments after, I heard the water stop running. After about five minutes, she emerged, annoyed, from the bathroom wearing her orange jumpsuit. We all shifted so we were on the right side of the hallway so she could get through.
I could tell she wasn’t feeling her best. She mostly looked at the floor. Orange wasn’t her color, at least I could hear her saying that in my mind. I looked to my right, and noticed Daisy hadn’t budged. She was still standing in the middle, taking up all of the space. Cassy gave her one quick look, and understood the huge bully in front of her wasn’t going to move out of the way, so she tried to squeeze her way past. Daisy simply smiled and watched her try to get through. I didn’t want to look, I knew how embarrassing it was. But I couldn’t not. She was trying to get past her, mostly her titanic breasts. She had to use each hand to force them out of the way, like trying to push through a huge bush made of flab. Daisy simply looked down at her and snickered, and I could hear laughter coming from behind her. Finally, Cassy disappeared behind the monster.
Daisy looked at me looking at her, and I darted back to looking towards the bathroom, as well all took our place in line. We continued this process. While Wendy showered, I felt a mitt of a hand rest on my shoulder. I dared not turn around. I could feel her presence behind me, tormenting me.
Wendy finally got out and had to fight past Daisy. Through all of that, Daisy didn’t even budge, still resting a hand on my shoulder. It was Trevor’s turn. He stepped forward and passed through the door, and I stepped forward in his spot.
Daisy did as well, not letting go of my shoulder.
“Are you gonna get nice and clean for me?” she whispered. It was just the two of us in the hallway. The sheriff was doing something else, and I know the other guy was somewhere back near the cages, making sure nobody escaped. For now, it was just me and the monster behind me.
“Y-Yes ma’am,” I said nervously.
She giggled.
“Good boy,” she said, pulling me back ever so slightly, but with just enough strength for me to realize there was nothing I could do about it. My head rested on her chest like a pillow. I had to admit, it was the softest thing I’d felt since being locked up in here.
We stood in silence for a little bit, I think she may have been enjoying herself and living for the moment.
“You wouldn’t be thinking about running away, would you?” she asked.
“No ma’am,” I said.
“That’s good,” she replied, still whispering. “You don’t want to know what I do to little boys that cause trouble.”
My heart sank. I was terrified even considering it. I was lucky that Trevor was done, and after he struggled past her body, I was able to take my shower. Unfortunately, when I tried to move, her hand didn’t leave my shoulder. I turned my head to look up at her.
“Clean up for me really good,” she said. “Every little crevice on that puny little body of yours, got it?”
I nodded.
I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower. It was just a standing shower with a drain and a sliding curtain. The floor was wet after the others had used it. I closed the curtain and found the soap. As I was washing myself, the water felt incredible, and I savored every moment the heat poured over my achy body.
A sudden rush of cold air surprised me. The door must have opened. I realized I was in a prison, so personal space wasn’t a commodity I had a lot of. But then the curtain swiped out. There in front of me was Daisy, but her uniform was off, and all that was left was a white shirt that struggled to keep her giant breasts in place. This wasn’t part of the plan.
