Censorship Update
Added 2022-04-11 22:03:57 +0000 UTCI've just received a notice from Pixiv about more of my works being problematic, including some of my top ones. They have been reuploaded on Baraag.
(There was no trigger for this. They simply acknowledged that I censored the previous work and came to check up on things.)
Unfortunately they didn't give me a reupload link this time, which forces me to either 1) get their Pixiv Premium in order to reupload a censored version, 2) reupload the censored versions as a separate work and leave the original works privated, or 3) don't reupload at all and leave the original works privated.
I don't like the way they're forcing me into a subscription service, and I also don't like having duplicate entries and I want to keep my original history, so I'm going with option 3 for now. I still have a free Premium trial that I might invoke for this, but I'll wait first.
They also said that "Due to recent trends, judgment concerning censorship may be stricter." and warned me that "in the event we observe similar behavior in the future, we may suspend your account without notice". So it looks like we will have a new workflow from here on out: Censored on Pixiv, full on Baraag.

I was looking at the Pixiv ToU (https://policies.pixiv.net/en.html) and I'm getting mixed messages - Pixiv reserves the right to decide what sites are "inappropriate" (A14 item 15) (probably in the context of malicious sites), but also denies all responsibility over the content of external sites (A26 item 1) (probably in the context of alternative commercial sites for the creator). I think it's a grey area, leaning on the side of not allowed. I want to believe in Pixiv's leniency, but they also have their own priority shifts, so it's really a gamble. Maybe I'll provide only the key part of the baraag link, instead of a full link. Fanbox does not allow direct upload of uncensored stuff, even behind a paywall. I was doing that before but they were quick to notify me, and that's why all my Fanbox uploads are censored.

2022-04-13 05:41:23 +0000 UTCIt was just a matter of time... Are you allowed to link directly to braag? If that's so, you can just put the link in the description for all future works. Also, some artists have been posting on fanbox the uncensored versions instead of pixiv. I wonder if that is fine or if they are still off the hook like you were for a while...
