Thing is, all of Julius' sock and shoe goods are magically designed to increase the size of their wearer's feet with every use, thus requiring them to return to the shop to buy increasingly more expensive and larger sized shoes/socks. When they can't pay their dues, they become merchandise themselves...
...AFTER a good stretching, of course.
