I think it still might be hardware-friendly, but idk how DPCM samples work when it comes to this. Something I've learned from doing a lot of sample-heavy tracks recently is that laying down samples first before any other instruments makes balancing much easier. Also resetting to a constant delta counter value throughout the song keeps the balancing consistent. In this case I used Z26 at the beginning of and after every sample.
There's still a lot I want to get done by the end of the month/year. Next I'd like to finish up an entry for a collab project that you'll see soon!
