Back + Simblreen 2023!

Hiya!

I've been back from my USA trip for 2 weeks now 'secretly' working on some Simblreen gifts so hopefully they will be ready after the first weekend of Simblreen. After this weekend i will know for sure but for now its going to be the 2nd Simblreen Weekend. I've been in such a great flow with lots of inspiration and just creativity flowing so that great! <3

Andddd... if you like to know what i've been up to these past 3,5 weeks (from the 9th of Sept till the 2nd of Oct) read below =)

I'm still missing the Midwest (Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Utah, Arizona) and everything about it so so much! I was definitely born in the wrong country hehe ;) It was so peaceful and freeing to be in this much space. Above is a unedited/cut low res drone-shot from our car driving through the beautiful wide Wyoming Planes :3

I also loved all of the people we've met this trip! <333 everybody was so kind and so helpful and shared so much about their lives or what to visit etc. Its so relaxing to just be able to understand someone without any effort. Me and my husband both speak English as a 2nd language and it was great to not have the stress/worry to make yourself understood/heard. Most countries in Europe are accommodating but the areas we visit don't always speak English which is fine bc we also understand, German/Italian (don't speak it well at all haha).

There is nothing like it in Europe. We have cool stuff too, don't get me wrong hehe :3 i just love how you can drive a dirt road and don't encounter a single soul for miles. Which maybe sounds terrible when i read it back hehe XD but when your driving through canyons and alongside rivers its so peaceful and so so beautiful! <333 This trip has given me new memories and really some sort of newfound peace for my soul.

When i get stressed i just go back to Big Horn and feel the wind running through my hair, the sun, the peace and quiet (there was literally nobody!) and i'm good to go. Its hard to explain guys but several places were like some sort of spiritual awakening or something. i felt so at peace a Moment Valley, where drove back with our guide when the moon came up and the warm breeze of the blistering sun from during the day was slowly turning into cool air.

Above are some very quick grabs from my phone and drone (low res Devil's Tower shot). He's a video editor and this trip was the ultimate opportunity to put his editor skills back to work (he's been in IT for some time now but still a very good camera man and video-editor!) I'm working on a photo album and my husband on a film and will def share more once we get that started if you guys like that :3

I cannot wait to get back honestly, it has stolen my heart for sure! Hopefully someday we will be able to but for now i'm focusing on getting the film done and the photo album.

Glad you and your honey had a good time out west. Next time you come to visit the Midwest, hit up Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Missouri (the actual Midwest lol) Metropolis, Illinois has the Superman exhibit, Indiana (i am from there but transplanted myself to Florida a couple of years ago), visit the Frank Lloyd Weber Museum, Garden of the Gods, Indianapolis Museum and Michael Jackson's birthplace. Wisconsin has the Dells if you are a fan of amusement parks and waterparks and Missouri has Branson and St. Louis (St Louis Art Musuem, sigh chef's kiss!). If you haven't, you got to see the arch, literal gateway to the west! Looking forward to more pics of your travels!

Absolutely beautiful. Definitely sounds like a spiritual awakening and connecting in with what truly enlightens your heart. It makes me so happy for you. I've honestly never heard anyone mention those words in the Sims commmunity in the 21 years I've been playing, it brings me brings me so much joy ☺️. I look forward to seeing more of your and your husband's beautiful images and film. Australia has similar spaces and isn't just heat and deserts. I live close to ancient Volcanic rainforests that I have been in for hours without seeing another person. It is the most divine experience. I go often and meditate. Thank you so much for sharing. 🩷
