Regarding EA's User Agreement Changes.

Hiya!

by now you might know of the changes EA has made against perma-paywallers, early access creators also seem to be affected by it. 

For me, its not a huge issue since I haven't been active the last few months (billing cycle has been off all this time) and already suggested a possibly new take on how i integrate Patreon with creating CC earlier this week (before the new tumblr drama started). 

As previously mentioned i'm very busy these days with my (new) job and college starts again in September. So i was already thinking about turning my patreon page into some sort of a donation page instead of doing early access. I'm just not able to deliver a stable stream of cc every month.

What can you expect here?

• Due to all that's happened/happening at Tumblr (everywhere tbh) i'm expecting to be much more active here (+ maybe Twitter, that also seems way less hostile). If i'm interacting, it will be here. Those posts will be open for everyone. This will be my homestead, it already kinda was with Tumblr changing these past months.
• When I resume to creating cc i will always post (WIPS) about it here, not Tumblr. Its most likely only for donators only. That way, i can keep it as a perk for patrons same as polls etc.
• Changes will be made accordingly at some point.

I'm shocked as for how fast early access creators are now being put into the same category as perma-wallers etc. I'm sad to see that so many (on Tumblr) revel in the misery of others. I'm luckily fortunate enough to say goodbye to my early access days. Thats why i'm most likely going to be off of Tumblr for the most part. I'll use it as a archive and release page since i have a decent download page over there but really interacting with people... i'm not seeing it happen in the foreseeable future. I've turned off 'commenting for everyone' and Asks are completely off over at Tumblr because otherwise most of the people that interact with me now or my posts will only interact with me to be rude instead of constructive.  

I'm not going to lie, the fallback of that EA statement has made me on the fence if i should return to creating at all. I never thought about retirement as a whole (only here on Patreon) but its coming close. Of course(!) i also see the goodness of (hopefully) most people but for the first time the ugly side of Simblr seems to be bigger than the caring/kind people.

To the people that follow me here and support/have supported me all this time...
I wanted to give you guys an extra shout out! Especially in these times! You've been so supportive to me through comments and DM's! I've yet to encounter that on anywhere else (apart from some discord friends). I loved creating stuff with you guys, you're input is very important to me. Its fun to see how some projects came to be :)

I had a really hard time finding time to create before all this so i'm hoping to return to creating rather sooner than later. 

Please know that if i decide to retire...
I will announce that accordingly and if so my Tumblr page and own website will always remain. I will not go on a "deactivate spree" or delete my CC or whatever. So nobody needs to re-host my files. It's against my TOU and the very small 'tip' i have left. Some days it generates a few cents (Adsense). So please, let me just have that. Since it falls under the passive income section of the new EA agreement.
