Pausing this Patreon indefinitely.

Hi everyone,

I’m sorry to say that while I will still be posting as much content as I can for January, and perhaps even into February, that I will be putting this Patreon campaign on pause for the foreseeable future. Going forward, no charges will occur, even if posts are made.

I know it may seem unfortunate, as I spent a considerable amount of time attempting to reinvigorate this campaign for myself and for you. I was pretty excited about it! However, in the last few weeks I’ve come to realize that while I enjoy doing commission work for individuals, that when faced with the task of coming up with adult content out of my own head for a Patreon, that I just don’t have the spark of inspiration. 

I’ve been blaming myself for a long time, angry at myself for seemingly being unable to just put pencil to paper and simply create an output. But as I’ve gotten back to doing commissions and found how easily it comes in comparison to Patreon work, I started to wonder if maybe I’ve been misunderstanding my own interests. I love to create, and I seem to create adult work easily and enjoyably when directed by a client. It provides me with a challenge that I like figuring out. It also takes away the deciding step of what to draw. Adopting that model that with a Patreon is not financially sustainable, so I’ve decided to return to full-time freelance commissions for my adult work.

I’ll be posting a few more things for January and February, but after that, I suggest that you un-pledge and follow me on Twitter if you want to see any future work of mine. By March, I will be un-publishing this Patreon page entirely, as there does not seem to be a way to turn off charges indefinitely. So to avoid anyone being accidentally charged, this page will disappear. 

Thank you for those who have joined me on this journey here on Patreon. I wish it could have been a better fit for me, but I’m glad that I more clearly understand myself artistically and personally as a result of giving it a go.
