In this scene, Nielle finds herself cornered—her family’s wealth is fading, and her husband is too weak to fix the situation. So she takes matters into her own hands.
Behind closed doors, she starts making her own secret deals with powerful human nobles… in exchange for power, gold, and pleasure.

This particular scene shows her sealing a “deal” with one of the richest men in the human kingdom.
By the end, Nielle faces a choice: stay loyal to her family… or abandon everything and become the human noble’s new bride.
