Final Announcement
Added 2019-03-30 22:44:23 +0000 UTCI've been thinking of changing the "Tiers" that i have on my page.
my thoughts of the changes would be, removing the $3 Tier and moving it to $5
The $5 Tier would show: Base comics, every comic i post would be under this tier, Basic behind the creation of comics, *Previews of work*
Creating a $8 Tier: Comics Early, Exclusive Pictures and Renders. Prize/Raffles Contests. Posted Current Processes of how the current WIP Comic is being made, Patron Comic Requests.
and finally bumping the $10 to $12 and having it include: Exclusive Bi-Monthly Comic ( 2 Months ) [ Not Accessible by $5 and $8 Tiers ], Creator Bundles [ Won in Raffles ] { Contains winner requested renders and files/images }, and something new i'll be trying, actually prizes [ Gift Cards, E-Cards, Steam Cards { For Any Gamers Out There }, Video Games, Movies, Music, etc ] ( Will Hold This Raffle "Once" a month and have "1 to 3" Winner's Depending.
All the tiers would gain access to the latter, $8 would gain the $5 benefits, $12 would gain the $8 and $5 benefits. Let me know what you all think, i won't put this into motion any time soon, most likely within several months, just wanted to get everyone's opinion!
and Thank You So Much! for all your patronage and support, you all are so amazing and i love being to make all these comics and renders for you all to enjoy! :D you're the best!
~Love, Sycosis ;)

2019-03-31 23:53:27 +0000 UTCfor 1. I'll try to think of some extra stuff to put in aside from the "Prizes" i was mostly thinking of a way to give back a bit more. for 2, That's the thing with other Artists, i support both of them and i enjoy their work, that being said i have no idea what either German or YTSnow do for a living as a Career, i am very dedicated to my job, i always want to put out content as much as i can, with my current career i try to schedule around my job, sometimes that falls through, but as of next month i'll have a lot more free time to release comics and such, granted the wanted change. and for 3, touching back on my last point, i have set myself deadlines, i've had issues meeting them do to work yes, with the surplus id make several new comics and keep the flow consistent to provide things for my patrons, my intentions for this would be not to Make a bunch and stop, but to make a bunch and continue to add more. I have no intentions to stop making content.
2019-03-31 08:06:06 +0000 UTCI agree with Himesama. It would really all depend on whether or not you're going to be able to deliver on the surplus because like Himesama said, a lot of deadlines have unfortunately been missed. I completely get that making these and rendering them etc is hard, but that's why I think right now it would be better to just focus on what you have and see how that goes

2019-03-31 06:56:31 +0000 UTCI, personally, would like you to reconsider some of these proposed changes. I'm not against the price increase, but I think based on your track record from the past year as well as the additional perks you want to introduce, I'd like to suggest some things. 1) I'm not here for the community or anything like that. Prizes, raffles, and contests and the like are something I have zero interest in. I'd rather pay less per month to not have that. I just want to see comics. 2) Arguably your main "rivals" are YTsnow and German. I'm not a patron for German, but I do support YTsnow. I did some math and you've released about 33% of the number of comic pages he has over the course of the last year. The $3/month currently reflects this accurately. Will you be increasing your output after the price increase? Will your bi-monthly $12 only comics have you pass YTsnow in terms of output and/or quality? I don't mind if you charge more even if you put out less, since your QoL costs are probably higher than his, but IMO you definitely to step up your output whether its in terms of page count and/or quality. Math: https://pastebin.com/YLZP8Hs4 3) You've missed a lot of your deadlines. These are deadlines you've set for yourself and announced here on Patreon. In your response to Gladrome76 you said that you were going to try to create a huge surplus of comics. What do you plan to do when you finally run out of your surplus?

2019-03-31 06:42:34 +0000 UTCI definitely agree with Giadrome76 and their apt reasoning. I think your work can definitely justify a price increase given its quality. I guess this whole thing is a balance of knowing your worth and making a good product. As long as you're transparent with price changes and are able to deliver as you say you will, your patrons will follow suit.

2019-03-31 05:59:57 +0000 UTCI think this is a good plan. Though you may want to still include a $1 tier just for people to support a bit, but not interested in really following. I'd actually be more interested in a better organization system to make it easier to find comics at each tier. Just found a load of your stuff today.
