Three things! Patreon Update 12

Hey Patreons!

Just three things this time - but they're all important. Here they are: TankFest, Beevor, and Crusader. I'll let the video speak for itself.

Well... mostly. Yes, I have severely underestimated Crusader. Completely. This Battlestorm is going to make every single Battlestorm video I've made so far look like a walk in the park. That lake has turned into a small sea - one with about five whirlpools in it and two hurricane. Honestly, it's crazy. To quote from the official British history -

“A complicated situation indeed, which, if suggested as the setting of a training exercise, must have been rejected for the reason that in real life these things simply could not happen.” - Playfair

Yeah... and here's me trying to make sense of it all. But I will! Trust me, when this is out you'll understand why it took so long.

Also, I just want to thank you all for your comments for Tuesday's message, and as usual I will be replying to you all tomorrow morning (Saturday), including PMs. So yes, if you're going to TankFest, let me know. When I have more information about Crusader, I will let you know. And I'm going to go now and record Monday's video - Beevor 2.0. Fingers crossed I don't screw up and accuse Sosabowski or something this time... Just know, I'm determined to make up for my mistakes.

Anyway, thank you all as always for watching and supporting. Chat to you tomorrow.

Cheers!

Lewis

Here's a couple links concerning Operation Neptune that I hadn't seen before that other people might find interesting: http://scholars.wlu.ca/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=1596&context=cmh This one goes into quite a bit of detail about DD-Shermans at Omaha beach: http://www.strijdbewijs.nl/tanks/sherman/barbaraeng.htm I read that book he mentions close to 40 years ago and really enjoyed it. I read a few years ago about how the author described the Slapton Sands disaster in his book as being caused by a storm since the actual details were still classified.

Apologies for late reply, but yes! With MHV. I won't be making a video specifically about TankFest, but I'm hoping to be taking pictures and using them in the videos. Plus, this will probably inspire me to make those tank-videos I keep saying I'll make.

Are you going to shoot a little footage at Tank Fest for us?
