Dream Bunny - Failed Children's Show Review - brutalmoose

My current YouTube strategy has been "make whatever I feel like making", and so.... here's THIS THING! Ahaha!

I'm 100% okay if this episode doesn't do very well, because the experience of reviewing something so obscure was just so much fun. I wish there had been a bit more MEAT to the Dream Bunny episode, but what was there was still pretty great. The dialogue/music was a bit repetitive, but I hope the episode turned out enjoyable at least for how bizarre this thing was.

Next up is some food, and then... I dunno yet, exactly, but I'm feeling a little ambitious. I'll just have to see where that leads me. Hopefully it takes me to somewhere amazing, because that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna, that's where I wanna

I'm scared, Ian. You have done me the frighten.

Watching this while taking apart and cleaning several Gameboys was an.. interesting experience.

I loved this video X3 I wanna watch the full tape now.

I've had that theme song in my head for days now after watching this... but the obscure stuff is sooo good

Man, I don't know why I stopped doing silly editing for so long. I guess I was afraid I was being obnoxious. Happy to be back to making any goofs I want to make, haha. Thanks Marcas!

Thank you, Jess!

They aren't dubbed! I don't even edit my voice overs in post that much, anymore. If you'd like to see the specific equipment I use, I list all of it over here: http://brutalmoose.com/faq It took a little while of experimenting with this mixer/compressor thing, but after messing with a bunch of settings I found the sweet spot. Since moving I've been getting a bit more reverb than I was in my old place, likely because of the higher ceilings. So I've been putting acoustic foam eeeeverywhere. I've got some new panels coming in to put on my ceiling. I still got a bit of reverb on this video, but I used Audition's "reverb reduction" setting in their Automatic Noise Reduction tool, and found it to be fairly useful. I don't think I'll have to do that as often once I get more stuff hung on my walls, though. I hope that's helpful? Honestly, audio is the aspect of video-making I know the least about, I usually hit up my friends when I've got questions haha

I'm really digging the "doing whatever you feel like" train of content going on here. Editing has gone through the roof in quality and silliness. Also this show is just fascinating in how mildly terrifying it is

I think doing whatever you feel like is working out really well! I love your old stuff a lot, but your more recent videos have been so cool and loose and I really, really dig it

great episode, hey ian how can you mic record you so flawlessly, are you lines dubbed? Somehow my mic is pretty directional even trough it's an big capacitor mic too. Maybe you could hint me in the right direction.

I haven't seen it yet but whenever you make something more obscure maybe ambitious but especially whatever makes you Fun turns out great. I especially love it whenever do some more obscure experimental stuff. Well let's see how this episode turns out.

His regular voice paired with that flappy little mouth really made me laugh. "You CAN do it!"

Liked this one a lot, reminded me of every weird local show that seemed to air on Sunday morning Farmervision (no cable tv) when I was a kid. Thought it was super strange how the "Dream Bunny" just had kind of a regular dude voice and nothing cartoony or soothing...
