Banana-roll Salad - Retro Recipe Review - brutalfoods

New kitchen, new brutalfoods brutalformat! This is actually a show idea I've been I've had COOKING for a little while, now, it was just impossible to film in the tiny kitchen.

I really hope you guys like this video! I feel like it's a perfect blend of my love of retro oddities and the recent success of my food videos. I hope it's apparent in the last handful of videos from me, but I have just been having a BLAST making videos lately, which is a state of mind I haven't had it quite a while. I know some people aren't happy that game videos are becoming less frequent (though not gone completely), but keeping my topics varied really helps keep the fun level up in video making.

Also - quick apology for being slow with Patreon comments, as well as my lack of streams, if you're a stream fan. What with the move and everything, it's just been crazy busy, and I've been focusing really hard on video making to try and keep my recent momentum gains going. Things should start to settle down for the rest of the year, and hopefully that means WAY MORE VIDEOS.

Thank you ALL so, so much for your support. Thanks for letting me make these weird videos as my job, it really is a crazy experience. Thank you!!

dang it, now your kitchen's larger than mine ;-;

Planetbox

the editing is so good, I love these videos because they're really unique!

TheRoguez

I have never seen a video carried so hard by the editing. You could recut the worst college lectures with this editing style and they would be immediately interesting.

Kevin Turner

I'm impressed you even took a bite, i'm not sure I could've. How recipe ideas how about some of those weirdly popular gelatin and meat recipes? Where it's just jello but with stuff in it.

The Ferret

Ian, your videos over the last couple months have been better than ever. Take my money, you definitely have earned it!

Those stupid sound effects get me every time.

Julian Daugaard

I love the way you edit your videos regardless of the subject. Keep enjoying it!

As long as the videos keep the same Ian charm, I'll watch regardless of what the subject is. This one definitely had that Ian charm, and between that and your sound editing, I laughed as much as I do with your video game reviews (which, to clarify, is quite a bit). Just remember us when Food Network picks you up, or when you get the opportunity to make a YouTube Red series where you fight off the Mayonnaise Monsters who want to put mayo on all foods, while wearing a banana hammock.

RainbowCat

This was great. I love the food videos!
