Making Progress, but Missing the Mark

You know that "I'm forgetting something" feeling you get sometimes, even if you haven't forgotten anything? That's been me since returning on my trip from Texas. I've got a lot of stuff on my plate right now, both on and off my channel, and on top of that I just feel like I'm forgetting something really important. I guess I'll just have to keep moving forward and hope that I actually haven't forgotten anything. Earlier I mentioned my goal of weekly uploads, and for a little while I was able to keep that up, but January is going to see at least a couple of weekends without content. After returning from my trip, I was just totally drained. It was really stressful having to work from home. Even though I glossed over it in the Ian Crate video, orchestrating/arranging that video was really a pain in the ass, and I spent a lot of time just worrying nonstop about it. In the end, I think the video was actually pretty good, even if it was completely different from the original plan. All of that mixed in with a disheartening happening on Christmas kind of wore me down, and I took some time to just relax. January is known for being a low CPM month, so I'm not too upset about missing a couple of weekends. Mostly I'm just disappointed that I failed, but soon it will be time to get back on that horse. I'm currently working on a new Original! I'm determined to make it my next upload. I just finished the script today, actually, and it's a bit longer than my usual scripts, so that's nice! It's sort of a spiritual sequel to one of my more loved videos, so I'm hoping that the script is strong enough so that people actually like this video as well. I've also got a Top 5 planned for this month, since I've gotten some messages complaining about me not having a list lately, as well as an Ian and Friend concept that I'm actually super excited about. On top of that, I have some work to do for other channels, and a trip to New York looming in the near future. I'm not totally sure what I will and won't be able to get done, but hopefully it's a reasonable amount. I'll be gone for almost two weeks as I hang out with friends on the east coast, then journey to my first MAGFest. It's both exciting and incredibly stressful, haha. After that, I already have another trip coming up in March, due to more obligations in Texas... I'm trying not to think about it right now though, it's far enough in the future where I shouldn't be worrying about it. Mainly I just want to apologize for not being able to keep up the pace I'd started to establish. I haven't given up, though, and I'm still going to be trying to get content out faster than in the past. The good news is that I think my next few Originals are going to go over really well, there's some awesome things on the way! Keep an eye out, and thank you all so much for the support.
