Faster Comics Coming Soon (Temporary Downtime Ahead!)

I wanted to let you know about an upcoming change. I’ll soon be switching to a new hosting provider for the website, which might cause a short period of downtime. During this transition, it’s possible that you won’t be able to access some content, including patron-exclusive posts.

I’m doing my best to make this transition as smooth and quick as I can. And the good news: once everything is set up, the loading times for the comics should be faster!

2025-01-10 14:44:05 +0000 UTCHi, sure, the main reason for switching hosts is that web hosting providers often offer very attractive rates during the first year, but prices tend to skyrocket when it’s time to renew. To avoid getting stuck with a very steep bill, I decided to look for a new provider, haha. The second reason is that the site is hosting more and more comics, and with my previous provider, I was limited to only 20GB of storage, which was nearly full. Lastly, I’ve chosen a hosting plan that’s better suited to the current number of visitors, offering more bandwidth. On top of that, the new provider includes a CDN feature, which caches content across multiple servers worldwide. This means faster loading times for users located farther away. If you’re based in Europe, you might not notice much of a difference, but users in the US or Asia should experience a significant boost in performance. Hope it answers your question :)
