Animated Animation

Full link

While updating things to use new rendering system, I have also been working on animation and videos. The new special series with Helen and Jane provided a good opportunity to experiment and this is the second video I have ever published. This is also available to all my Patron tiers to let you know where things are heading.

As I mentioned I haven't had that much experience in animating videos like this and I can already spot a few things that could use improvement but I'm sure things will improve with experience.

Feel free to comment, this is pretty new to me too!

Animated Animation

That's some pretty good animation for someone who doesn't have much experience animating. As a professional animator, I often cringe when I see NSFW animations. When you told us you would be adding some animation to the game I was a bit worried. I am glad to see that I need not be. But if I may give you a few notes. First, make sure to track your arcs, on everything. Especially the ends of things that are moving the furthest away from the center of gravity. If you do not know what I mean, let me explain. Everything on the human body moves in an arc because we are all made up of a bunch of joints. I don't know what animation software you use, but you should be able to find an arc tracking plugin or something for it. If not you can actually use a dry erase marker and draw on your monitor then go frame by frame putting a dot on what you are tracking. The biggest things that need their arcs tracked in this video are her nose, and all the nipples. I don't know if the breast movement is from the use of a physics engine or not. If it is then they will need to be tracked on something like their sternum's. The second note would be that the girl on the bottom (I always get Jane and Helen mixed up) looks like she is moving on her own instead of in response to Cole's thrusts. The last note Id give is to tone down the animation on the camera. There needs to be an obvious reason the camera is moving. If Cole is holding it then it makes sense but the movement needs to correspond to how his body is moving. And you need to track that arc. Looking at it again, I think what's making the camera movement a bit odd to me is that it is pinned to the upper right hand corner of the screen and pivots on that point. If he is holding it, then the upper right hand corner would be moving the most and the pivot point would be on the lower left side where his hand meets the camera. I hope these notes are helpful. Great Job and I cant wait to see then next video.

I'm always up for experimentation. Doesn't look to bad for someone that hasn't done to many animations.
