On one hand I totally understand why Pat feels as hopeless as he does and I understand why he doesn't just go "Oh boy, you're gonna help me? Thank you so much sir where do I begin." But on the other hand the green hoodie man is right, Pat has to want to change and the green hoodie man cannot do everything for him. You can totally tell by Pat's body language when the green hoodie guy is talking that hes doubting him and thinking "Yeah, sure, okay. I've definitely never heard that before", and I don't blame him but at the same time it is not like the green hoodie man has some ulterior motive, he really is trying to help out the people in his community. It is just such a tough and depressing situation.
