2026-03-03 11:16:08 +0000 UTCWhile I largely agree with almost everything said about therapists not responding to inquiries, I found it a tad absurd to claim they are abandoning and ghosting someone they have never spoken with. Unethical? Demoralizing? Sure, but not abandonment

I sometimes help people find therapists as part of my job and it often takes multiple attempts with multiple providers. It can be so hard for someone who is suffering to take steps to reach out and getting no response can be very demoralizing.
