One thing I’ve noticed as I’ve dated is that women will see you as a man first and a human second in the sense that they won’t entertain you unless you perform masculinity correctly (leading, paying for stuff, initiating) and it has really left a bad taste in my mouth honestly. But it also may be the cultural pocket that I am in.
