At about 22:45 and wanted to ramble about why I think we’re fascinated with serial killers! At least, why I think I and some people are fascinated with them. Dr. Honda said that a million other boys went through that childhood and I think that’s exactly why the general public is so locked on to these stories. I think we see ourselves in these serial killers, at least some people. I had a lot of depression and self esteem issues, I have a fascination with biology and anatomy (I’m going to school for it!), I had a lot of strange medical events in my childhood. But those of us that can relate to him on some level also can never imagine doing the things he did and because of that, we want to understand why. At least for some segment of the population. I’m also just fascinated in the psychology of it all, but you have a biased sample group since probably everyone in your patreon feels that way lol! That’s why I loved your guest! I loved hearing her insights and I hope you have more expert subscribers on! Another YouTube channel I watch did that as well with eating disorders, had viewers that were experts with experience in that topic and I really love the chance of getting to learn what another viewer/listener is passionate about! Ty if you read this far, I rambled 😅 Edit: now I wish I waited until she had said she was an embalmer! That’s one of my potential career paths!
