The Psychology of JonBenet Ramsey (Chap 5 - Intruder Did It)

Comments

The investigators botching this investigation so bad is sooooo frustrating. I’d like to believe that if it were an intruder, a competent crime scene lockdown and analysis (including searching the entire house immediately upon her being reported as missing) would have made this case so much easier to solve.

This was my thought to… kids play and scratching happens accidentally or on purpose. It could be anybody from school, friends from the party, etc.

Great work Humberto, we can see how much effort you put into this. Thanks to both you and Kirk

Berto, I have to say, I am SO entertained by the way you present the story! The sarcasm, the wit, the suspense, the teasing with the confession (I am on the edge of my seat even though I already know about it 😆) – thank you so much! I paused the podcast after you made me laugh really hard at "the boot prints didn't match" to write this comment. Really, thank you. Infotainment at its best. 🙏🏼💚

Thank you Berto so much for the work on this deep dive! The way you unfold all the information is super intriguing

Whoa. That's so creepy. Who knew criminals would be interested in going to crime con...

Gary Oliva was released from prison in 2024. He went to CrimeCon this year, reportedly because he wanted to apologize to John Ramsey. John did not want to meet with him and they did not meet. Gary definitely needs psychiatric help.

Either way.. whatever’s up with that dude is not okay. Thank god he’s locked up for the moment. Very grandiose and odd.. It almost seems to me that maybe he wanted to be the guilty one because he’s done something similar, wants the attention.. but it definitely seemed like a cry for help. Ugh. Funky. Humans 🤦🏻‍♀️😭 When all of this happened, was it also the time that people were super idolizing serial killers? I guess it’s still like that to an extent. Thank god these people didn’t have internet access back then. Shit would be way crazier 😅

I am curious if they ever tested the kids at the Christmas party they were at for the finger nail DNA. If there were other kids there, it could have just been from playing.
