Thank you for talking about trigger warnings again! And for providing the explanation of different types of triggers. It makes me mad as well if people say ‚oh trigger warning are useless we should not use them‘ because they don‘t understand the origins.

So good that you provided an overview again of why the trigger warning is useful and when it is not. It needs to be explained more generally in the internet. It did remind me though of that time in my first year of medicine school, one of the classes was a movie in which they depicted female mutilation in cultures. I, shocked that it was considered normal for future doctors to see that in their first year btw, went eventually outside and home and was appalled. I was the only one who dared and I felt a coward. No trigger warning whatsoever and I still am puzzled what the use of it was.
