I think the beard look would be well suited with a cardigan vest.

I am looking forward to this deep dive. I started watching the deep dive on Elon Musk but found myself not enjoying episode one. I’m almost to the end of this episode and Humberto is really growing on me. ☺️ He’s witty and relatable.

I like this look for Kirk. I’ve never seen him wear a trendier shirt and it caught me off guard.

Awesome Deep Dive!

In regards to the censoring of the word rape.. those of us who have had the experience are immediately transported back when hearing it. It’s not that kids/ people these days are too fragile to speak it, it’s that thankfully people are aware of the visceral reaction that survivors feel when hearing it spoken.

I wish you had mentioned Clinton. I have always believed Juanita Brodrick. I think he was accused by 4 women. I think given his power level and Epstein attachment it’s impossible to really ever know.

Thank you for mentioning Terry Crews and others (I'm about halfway in I think) - I grew up assigned male here in the UK and was sexually assaulted during an abusive relationship aged 18, and finally reported to the police when I was 21. The report was in 2016, and I still expected to be laughed out of the room. Thankfully I was in the company of several sympathetic police officers and honestly, I think I was taken seriously (we certainly took the case as far as it could go, but because bruises etc don't last for 3 years...there was only circumstancial evidence, so it couldn't go to court, and he got away with it). But at that point in time, we were still in a place where my expectation - not fear, the default expectation - was that I'd be ridiculed and re-traumatised. It's only at times like this that you look back and realise just how far we've come in the past decade, without really even knowing it.

Dan

Yeah, i think 3k is a reasonable estimate. I think it's more likely he systematically abused people he knew than every day a new person. Which makes it just even more horrible. And I think it's a little easier to reach out these days because of our society's enlightenment but that's probably just my social bubble...

Emily

I'm confused as to how DH got to 10,000 victims for Sean Combs. 150 have come forward which he estimated to be 3%. 150÷3x100=5,000. So should the estimate not be 5,000? Obviously either number is horrific. ☹️

I have been looking forward to this!! My family has been and around the industry so it's not too shocking

Nomadickitty

I am so looking forward to this! I wanted to ask you Dr K to do a deepdive on this!

It’s my understanding that the speculation regarding a famous woman present at time of Jay-z rape allegations is Jennifer Lopez (Diddy’s girlfriend at the time)

I’m like 8 minutes in, but I want to say that I also been frustrated about the restriction of certain words. I also felt frustrated about the focus on safety for children - until I realized that it might be more of an advertisement issue. It could still be a kids safety issue, but content creators and the platform is also concern about what will bring them income. Some companies don’t want to have ads on videos that talks about certain topics. A third issue might also be a concern for legal issues. It’s still annoying af, but it was a bit less annoying when the explanation made a bit more sense to me (although, I still don’t get it).
