I kind of always looked at this as being in love with your teacher or a celebrity: you don‘t actually know them, but you love the part you know. Also, as a heads up: isn‘t it great to know that you (anonymous patreon) are capable of feeling this connection with someone? Even if you won’t engage with each other? And for sure your therapist isn‘t the only one who can give this to you.
