If someone doesn't leave their house to avoid something they are afraid of are they dwelling in their dwelling?

Is it possible that a good relationship does not cause good outcomes, but rather indicates that the person is capable of achieving a good relationship, and therefore not too damaged to have a good outcome?

Dependency in therapy is a sensitive topic in the US it seems. There is a very interesting paper from 2001 written by Kathy Steele and published in the Journal of trauma and dissociation, called 'Dependency in the context of the treatment of complex posttraumatic stress disorder and dissociative disorders'. I have BPD and can get very dependent on people (through no fault of their own), that includes my therapists. I am a recovering alcoholic/addict as well. In AA/NA, it's common to hear addicts say they are addicted to people as well as subtances. Probably something to do with attachment trauma. Great episode as always. Thank you so much for educating us!
