You’re the best, Kirk. Thank you for being you!

Ash

That rant at the end was everything

Emma Regan

I loved it! I loved the end also. The way you ramped up and showed your anger and then were able to calm.yourself and touch your empathy and your values of love and understanding. I try to be that way as well. We can hold both feelings in us

Laurence Provost

lol! OPP is old patron praise. :D

Jocelyn G

I enjoy sending emails to the podcast as it is a safe-feeling way for me to interact with others. Thank you for being a safe space for inquisitive folx Stacy & Kirk!

Jocelyn G

I find that friends generally offer advice more than therapists!

Emma Regan

Love the episode and the podcast in general, but I am bit confused about the description of MI - as I’ve heard it described, Motivational Interviewing is Rogers-inspired and is absolutely collaborative and does not have an agenda that is set by the therapist alone, even though the approach is a bit more directive than in other types of therapy…

Mirela B.

I just did the Arsenio fist pump driving down the highway when my name got called for OPP! (Old Podcast Patrons?) so this is what it feels like when doves cry

Sarah Steppling

Great episode especially the end. Thanks so much!!

Robin

Yay! I heard my name in the OPP recognition! Thank you. I love it.

Trissa Schiffner

Omg totally here for the end of the episode rant! Laugh out loud fantastic.

Sarah

What exactly does one need a postmodernist therapist for? It sounds like a friend will do the same job for less money.
