TToB: Half-Asian/Half-White people are perceived (by both full-Asians in China and full-Whites in the US) as more trustworthy, intelligent, and attractive. Tough or Bluff???

It's true in my case. I am half Central Asian, but I have a lot of my Swedish/Germanic father's features. Others in my family don't though. I think the one's that have more Asian features, people in the US think they are Asian.

2024-11-20 00:15:31 +0000 UTCI’m on the fence with this because I’m 100% Asian, but I present as ethnically ambiguous, and my experience has been mixed. Some Asian people don’t see me as Asian enough; white people don't see me as white-passing, and people of color don’t see me as colored enough. On good days, I benefit from being ethnically ambiguous. On my bad days, nobody likes me, and they’re confused about me. I have had more bad days than good days lately, though.

2024-11-19 15:29:43 +0000 UTCI live in Asia and my husband is Asian and I'm white. I can see this being true because whenever I speak to people (foreigner or local) they always say that half-Asian, half-white children are the cutest.
