Hi Dr Kirk, you say that you would terminate with a client for stalking because you need to feel safe. But at the same time, you say we should be able to tolerate emotional abuse. Wouldn’t it make sense that for some therapists, emotional abuse will also make them feel too unsafe and they need boundaries around it?

I just heard the first part, the story with the therapist. Maybe I missed something in the story or don't know very good what the job title of psychiatric nurse is, but I was not convinced that she was indeed licensed. If that's the case I don't think the person wronged can do anything to this person. Hope she is getting the right care now :(.
