Therapist Fraud

Comments

I’m trained in NLP and have several friends who are also trained and who are practicing therapists but also do coaching. They are incredibly up front about the differences and don’t try to hide if they are coaching or doing therapy, and they are very careful about who they do coaching with (for example they would never take on someone with a mental health situation as a coaching client; it’s more for things like career coaching). I think once this “therapist” started down that ethical slippery slope, it was just easier for her to continue.

I agree! I have been diagnosed with ADHD and relate to a lot of the quirks

It’s so funny listening to old podcasts/ re-runs and new ones back to back, Kirk, your voice in newer content drops several octaves 🤣🫶🏻 I’m not sure if it’s the more “confident” or just older/ wiser Dr Honda!

Bob is epic

I know that Kirk has said that he doesn’t have ADHD, but there’s just so many things that constantly make me wonder if he actually does! Even the dyslexia; when I got evaluated for ADHD did I tell them that I thought I was dyslectic. The psychiatrist said that it likely was my adhd and not dyslexia (I still need the same kind of help as people with dyslexia tho). I’m not refuting that Kirk does not have adhd, but I can’t shake the thought out of my head 😅

Well done both of you. You are amazing men with positiveness! I enjoyed the new music at the end also.

So happy to get another bobcast! Missed you Bob 😊💜. I also have Dyslexia and I am not sure if I get in trouble with idioms much (apart from that I just struggled to spell the word 'idiom'). But I do often confuse dutch and english idioms, which I guess is more of a bilingual thing (which is also a horrible word to spell). And I agree with Bob that rhythm is absolutely an atrocious word to spell. Atrocious itself is also pretty bad. Where would we be without autocorrect!
