For EFIT training on Vancouver Island, it’s < 1 hour flight from Seattle to Victoria then 1.5 hour drive to Nanaimo.

Love Bob! Thank you both sharing your vulnerability in these talks. It’s hard work assisting others. Self doubt at times creeps in and no one is perfect.

It’s nice to hear Bob’s voice!

Also when Bob asked kirk "how do you feel NOW" he was using eft. And when kirk moved away from the question, that was a block. So Bob might have said "let's go back...what just happened there..." and proceeded through the eft tango. A favorite SJ quote is "no risky, no getty".

I'm 99% sure that you can't do efit at home alone. Part of what's supposed to be happening is that you've developed so much trust (security) with the therapist, that they are helping you face the interpersonal fear - which if we buy in - is as real as a fear of snakes or bridges, and more essential to self and personality. So, the security with the therapist (also a major part of the therapy) is what facilitates the change, but they are both part of the core change of, "I can trust myself, I can trust others". I'm curious how the therapy might differ based on attachment style, because the formative experiences are supposed to be opposites between the anxious and avoidant client. Also, how the therapy would differ with the disorganized client. Also, the success in vulnerability people have a series called "what scares therapists" that might be useful.
