Not sure if Kirk has ever studied the theories of Clare Graves, which is a theory of how humans have developed to solve the problems of existence and the levels of cognitive complexity this has created. It explains why black and white thinkers appear to ignore certain aspects of what you have said. It’s more that they are unable to handle the complexities of relativism—they literally can’t handle some of what is said if it contains anything gray, so it just gets thrown out.

hi guys, this deep dive on Elon Musk is wonderful. It's opening my eyes! I shared some of the highlights with my colleagues at work and they said that it changes their perspective on Musk's behavior as well. I work as a life line consultant and a somatic coach and I feel like I'm also attending the university of PiS that helps me both in my personal life and at work. thank you for your service, Kirk and Berto and the whole PiS team :) PS: I realized that this Berto's persona was the reason it took me some time to start liking him. but since I started to get to know him better, I appreciate his realness, knowledge and vulnerability very much.

This reminds me of the theory that improved parenting styles are the reason we have lived in a more peaceful world post Ww2. If I consider the most dangerous political circumstances we currently face, all seem to brought on by leaders who have terrible parents. It would be interesting to check this observation out. Here in the uk many of our politicians were sent to boarding schools, which seems to have had a negative impact on their effectiveness as leaders. Similar phenomenon.

Haha Berto speaking as musk - I know she's my employee but this seems like a good time to "whoop" 🤣🤣🤣

There is a detail in a Lex Friedman interview w Musk were he mentions his grandfather being heavily heavily traumatised in world war 2. Speaking of intergenerational trauma, this can be an important piece.
