TToB: 46% of American parents think it is not important for their children to go to college. Tough or Bluff???

Comments

I think it depends on the age group of the parents. I think the default is still to want your kids to go to college, and some careers require a degree, but I think that view is changing some.

It’s TOUGH! 98% think it is important for them to be financially independent and have careers they enjoy.

I feel like it might be higher

If I was taking this survey question, I would answer 'no' even though I value higher education and hope that my child pursues it. My child's success is important to me but college does not necessarily add up to success.
