2024-09-17 19:44:58 +0000 UTCIf you examine what casual sex is really about to the people who are into it, I think it's more about experiencing intimacy with a variety of people more than it's about getting off as much as possible. I'm fully enjoying the person (or people) I'm having an experience with. I don't see how a robot could be exciting in that way. There's no one to be intimate with. Maybe I'd try it once out of curiosity...like, if I was the last human on earth and I was really bored.

But I voted bluff bc, like Sarah's earlier comment, I suspect that those who are shagging more often with, perhaps, a variety of partners, may be more likely to have their sexual needs met. If there is any comparison between robots and blow-up dolls, I kinda think about who these objects are (stereo)typically marketed to....

2024-09-17 14:50:55 +0000 UTCI would guess yes - people might believe it's easier to find robot casual sex partners instead of human casual sex partners, so you don't have the same fear of rejection. I also think more people believe they'd be more comfortable exploring their sexual fantasies with casual sex robot partners instead of with another human.
