Death & Self Indulgence (2021 Rerun)

Comments

I have a huge thing with being “pathetic”. I feel shame around wanting things because I think people will look down on me. Like “oh look at her, thinking that she should have something. She’s pathetic”.

I feel for you Bob. I currently feel terrible about spending money on my wedding because my dad disapproves of how much it costs. I am trying to be as frugal as possible on this but weddings are expensive. And I get emotional every time I get a bill even though I have more than enough to pay for it. I just want one thing for myself and I feel guilty about it.

Heather Ehrgott

$55 for a pen is totally reasonable if you write all the time - like a carpenter investing in good quality tools! Since this was from 2021, I hope that by now at least 5% of Bob believes he's worth it.
