I loved this episode as someone who grew up in Tacoma/Federal Way. Tacoma is pierce county though! for better or worse, Tacoma has been heavily gentrified within the last 10 years. Lots of the black/brown communities have been pushed out.

Have you tried taking the Light Rail yet Dr. Kirk Honda?

Zoe

Loved to hear that Rebecca also enjoys the German Mom. She is my favorite character alongside Italian Dad!

Julia

Hey Rebecca and Kirk! I've never even been to the state of Washington and yet I listened to this whole episode... There's something special about two friends bantering like this. Thank you, as always!

Leila

Me too, also surprised of how car brained they are.

Lief aka Leaf

I think Tacoma is Pierce County. Thurston is way down in Olympia.

Lauren King

Yay, another Rebeccasode! On the downside, I listened to this while working this morning and now I'm very hungry!

Julia Smith

Please do a tour of the places you have memories about in Sammamish!! I have family there that I visited this summer and I kept on wondering how close they are living to where you are from. Would be very fun to see!
