A lot of wisdom in this episode ❤️

Emma Regan

You spoke about mourning the fully recovered future that you saw for yourself and I couldn't relate to anything less. I've spoken with my therapist before about how I really struggle to envision what life would look like without my trauma reactivity. It's all I've ever known and I can't even imagine anything different. Not to say I don't have progress or hope for a life with much less trauma reactivity, it's just that it's been so all encompassing for me that removing it changes everything and it's too different to conceive right now.

With EMDR you need a time of preparing the pacient, before they're ready to start reprocesing, and that can take some time to install regulation strategies, like mindfullness. After that, EMDR is very effective

I’m with you Bob, thank you for everything, for being vulnerable and for sharing your experiences. Love you guys, glad i’m here to listen.
