And now I can't recognise daddy Kirk because purchased a beard :((

Emily

: ) Thank you!

Bob Goettle

Wow, Emily, thank you. You made my day!

Bob Goettle

Happy belated birthday, Bob! I've been listening for a long time, but never comment. You said you read the Patreon comments so I just wanted you to know how much I absolutely love episodes you are involved in. I had a pretty terrible childhood and listening to you talk really helps me with my own trauma. I have come to terms with the fact that, like you, I'm going to carry this for the rest of my life. Seeing how you are able to handle it by being open and honest with the people in your life has encouraged me to be more open as well. The change in my husband's understanding has been incredible and he now knows how to better respond when I have "a moment". This is because of you and your bravery in telling the world that you are vulnerable. I never thought I could show anyone my own vulnerability, but my life has improved by following your example. I hope you can truly grasp the positive influence you have had on listeners and how much love there is in the world for you. My life is better because you are a part of it... No matter how distant. Thank you for being you!

Emily Dickenson

Thank you for answering my questions! I always appreciate what Bob has to say 😊

Softnoodles

Thank you, Julia, and yes he did!

Bob Goettle

Congrats Emma!

Bob Goettle

: ) Thank you!

Happy birthday, Bob! Thank you for your thoughtful way of speaking about difficult emotions. Learning about radical acceptance through you has really helped me in difficult times. Also: Did Kirk just say that he thought his dad was “up on the roof” for a whole month???

Julia

My partner and I have also just celebrated 19 years together! Happy anniversary to Bob and Colleen!

Emma Regan

The outro sounds like Kirk singing. He’s mentioned bread knife incident and missionary were bands he was in. I’ve never looked them up but I bet some albums are available online

MK

Me listening to Kirk talking about editing and honing thinking “I could do it”😅

MK

Happy Birthday, Bob. You've made such a difference in my life and have contributed to me feeling worthy of being loved by my partner (more times than not)

Franzi

I so agree with what you said about the busy work being part of the creative process, Kirk. I run a small business and consultants have told me in the past that there are things that I should outsource. While I don't like some of those tasks, they can be really useful and I've also noticed that my employees respect that I am doing them myself.

Franzi

Yay Bob! Thanks for a relaxing podcast hour. Also, I love the outro... where is that from?

Caitlin House

Happy birthday, Bob! We love you very much!!
