Have you watched 90 day fiance UK? I may be totally out of the loop & you’ve been there done that but i feel like it’s way less scripted & like there’s less of the chance some of the people are there to become influencers. I haven’t watched all of the og 90 day fiance, like 50%, but im getting through all UK & it’s very entertaining!

wow, I love this conversation and I also love the new music that ends the episode, it makes me so sad that the reactions from the internet affect your lives and what you decide to talk about, I wish... that you always stay safe. Dr. Krirk can you elaborate on the topic of Gamer Widows? I'm sad in this category I guess... it wasn't until you lived this term that I understood that it describes a large part of my life well. I learned a long time ago to organize my time around my significant other's computer, and most of the time I lived it alone when he played...

That sounds amazing, I hope there will be something like that when my daughter starts high school. She is 11 and I am already struggling to help her, because I am 44 and didn't grow up with this, so I feel completely lost. She doesn't use any social media other than YouTube (watching, not creating!) and WhatsApp with her friends but there have already been some issues with cyberbullying. It's so hard to deal with!

A great conversation as always, even though I've never heard of this creator before. I would love to see more conversations with Youtube creators who have experienced backlash/hate/harassment/abuse for some of their content. I have a few on my list, for example, fellow Seattle-based leftist Youtuber Vaush. There are a lot of creators who focus deliberately on making "drama content" and your approach is like an antidote to that. As a couples and family specialist you have a unique voice in that space and there is potential to create some amazing anti-drama content which I think a lot of people want to see

I love hearing your perspective on building community in online spaces. My son has a class in 7th grade called “cyber civics,” which is mostly about online safety, but it’s making me think about how important this intentional conversation about how we communicate with strangers online is. We don’t really have an inter generational consensus on how to treat each other online, and it’s important to realize comments impact people. Keep up the good work!

One of my favorite creators! Thank you for having Shelby on. Very interesting conversation!!
