Yeah, I asked many students and professors, but only a small number obliged me. Many would decline due to stage fright.

I think it was "Sports Psychology for Families"

Almost cried listening to this. I’ve always felt so alone with it.

By the way I think it is so great that Kirk uses this podcast to help students through giving them a platform and through offering grants. Just a little break can change a students entire career (I know, it happened to me in different circumstances).

Can you share the name of the podcast about sport injury mentioned at the start of the episode? Fantastic research on painful sex, very impressive that the student managed to approach an issue with such challenging methodological considerations.

Thank you so much for this episode. This is something I'm struggling with and I will ask my partner to listen to this with me. I've gone through physical therapy for one of those conditions (with good results) and it's been almost 2 months now and I still haven't had the courage to test it out and see how the treatment affected the process because I am afraid it didn't change much or the change was temporary and is gone now. My physical therapist told me she was seeing at least 6 other clients in a week who are struggling with this type of pelvic floor conditions and it felt very validating to hear I was not the only one. It's a lonely place to experience pain from an activity that for most people is pleasurable and when specialists talk about it openly and publicly, it really helps. Thanks again for publishing this rerun!
