Comments

The dsm part, very nicely covered. In my country the pharmaceutical companies give a short (5-10 min) presentation before we are "rewarded" with an educational webinar (related or not related to the company) or a free lunch. I myself value these opportunities to educate my self further in my profession.

Living with chronic pain is so debilitating, depressing, and feels hopeless. I learned at 29 that I have arthritis in my low back. I'd been having issues since my early adulthood but was told it was just period related pain since the pain would spike around my cycle. That was not the issue. I don't have solutions, but I know I have to keep moving in low-impact ways and give grace to myself when I cannot do the things I want to do... it's not easy and doesn't always work this way. Sometimes I just break down and give up... eventually (so far) I get back up because it's my only option. I can't think forward to older years because it's not like arthritis gets better over time and it's overwhelming to imagine the pain in store for me in the future. It just sucks. It breaks you. It can consume you. It's not fair, really

Just wanna say how much I appreciate this podcast not starting with 5 minutes of advertisements.
