A Therapist Kisses His Client - Chapter 2 (2016 Rerun)

Comments

Now I’m very aware of the dangers and potential harm and injustice that can come about as a result of questioning victims of ethical violations. However, I was glad that Kirk mentioned that once in a while there may be a delusional and vindictive client. A colleague suffered an elaborate complaint which turned out to be likely fabricated by the client. Something seems to have happened in the transference that angered the client to the point that they quit sessions, lodged a complaint and started a campaign against the therapist. I guess at the end of the day both therapist and client need to walk the tightrope of protection v connection.

Another awesome episode! I really appreciate the thoroughness with which topics are investigated in these podcasts.
