Hunt Triptych (I'm home)
Added 2019-07-04 20:13:15 +0000 UTCFinally back on desert ground in Albuquerque, which means I can finally start going through my images from the trip. All 5000 of them! I've only started into my first few days of photos, but I was really excited to look at the predator prey shoot.
It didn't occur to me until looking at the results, but this series really reminds me of cruising in a weird way. As in, gay male cruising for sex in public parks. I like the idea of thinking about Atmus willingly entering into this situation, that maybe there is some kind of pleasure in the danger of it. Who knows if that will come through to anyone else? Lol.
Anyway, I'm really excited about this kind of arrangement for these photos. I am going to be in a little group show this fall, might end up showing this as a series in the exhibition. Just thinkin out loud!
