Clarifying Ashley's Path: Addressing Your Suggestions

I am very happy with your feedback and thank you for all the ideas you’ve given me!

I thought of making a post to group the responses to the comments you left for me.

From the comments, it appears that you are split 50/50 on whether she stays the same physically or she changes.

A decision needs to be made here; it is impossible to please everyone since you have given me, although all very interesting, diametrically opposed ideas.

Let me make it clear right away that my intention has always been for her to undergo physical changes as well, which go hand in hand with psychological changes.

Mind you, I never had the idea of turning her into a fake plastic doll; I hate that look and do not find it attractive. However, as you have also seen from the previous chapters, she will undergo small changes that, by the end, will make the reader realize her deep fall. Every girl who works at Nirvana has undergone this change (remember Maya talking about how she was top of her class in college and then, through a series of events, found herself working at Nirvana?).

Don't worry, she will not immediately turn into a cheap prostitute; that, if anything, will happen right at the end of the comic. She will maintain her purity throughout the comic, but in the meantime, as I said, she will undergo some small changes (I know full well that the strong element is that she is so “innocent” in relation to the environment she is starting to enter, so I don't want to lose that element in the middle of the story).

Among the ideas you have given me regarding the next chapter, I like the idea of a more “feminine” haircut. I will probably do that. Also, the idea of her starting to smoke a few cigarettes (when she's with Hector) makes sense with what I have in mind for the next chapter.
