RENDER - Springtime For Heather

Never planned to have Heather become a recurring character. Especially not as a statue. Yes, Summer and Autumn renders will be forthcoming. I've also considered a short post statue story where she thanks the gorgon for the lovely year and she jogs back down the trail. I might do that only for the idea of revisiting the "trail" files after I've been doing renders for a year.

Heather Goes Off The Trail has been available on deviantArt for 3 months now. The popularity of the individual pages fascinates me. They are, in liked order:

Ten 86 - all the marble(s)
Five 69 - the closeup of the statues seen while following the gorgon
Nine 55 - decision made
One 37 - Thought this would be higher. Only because folks would want quick access to the start. Maybe. Perhaps not.
Three 36 - First rando statue
Four 32 - Second rando statue
Eight 31 - Making the decision
Seven 28 - Gorgon offers Heather a plinth of her own
Two 25 - Stepping off the trail
Six 20 - The really dark image of following the gorgon
The popular ones average around 6k views and the unpopular ones average around 4.5k. Guess that means people do revisit the favorites now and then.

I wish I had made a collection for them immediately (or that the multi-image post functionality had existed at the time). I wonder if that would have made a difference.
