Ted's Dolls Interlude 7: Misty

Ted's Dolls was meant to be an anthology series of doll transformations. But, since its humble beginnings, the continuity has become very important. Please read them in the suggested order as found in this gallery on deviantArt or as listed on my Patreon.

Misty graduated from the same high school as Ted in the same year he did. She first appeared in Cat’s Dolls, A Ted’s Dolls Bonus Story. This story takes place in the spring of 2023. It starts four months before Ted’s Dolls 1: Jane.

The cheerleaders were doing post-practice cool down stretches in small groups. The head cheerleader, Misty, always reminded them it helped increase flexibility. She was in a group with Kimberley and Ayla.

“Did you hear about Tiffany? She’s dating Ted,” Ayla, the chief gossip of the group, said. “Didn’t you have your eye on him?”

“She is?” Misty said. “Are they really serious? How many dates? How do you know?”

“I don’t know. I heard it from Ted’s friend, Burke.”

“What are you going to do about it, Misty?” Kimberley said.

“I’ll figure something out.”

In the shower, she didn’t pay much attention to the other women and left as soon as she could. She rushed over to a classroom as far from the gymnasium as a room could be in the school.

Several chess boards were setup on the desks and more than twice as many students were sitting in front of them or standing around talking about forks, skewers, and openings. She knew how to play chess but their discussions were over her head.

“Michael,” she said, as soon as she found him. He was staring at the board in front of him trying figure out how to capture his opponent’s white bishop that was stopping him from gaining progress in the game. “Michael.”

“Huh, what?” Michael said, turning to look at her. “Hi, Misty. Give me a minute.”

“Just take that pawn.”

“No helping,” several people nearby said. One of them said “kibitzing” instead of “helping.”

“I can’t take that pawn. He’ll mate me four.”

“I will?” His opponent said. He had been leaning back, sure he knew the state of the game. He leaned back toward the board as now he wasn’t so sure.

“Fine, make your move. I have to talk to you.” Patience was not her forte. It was fairly obvious the head cheerleader was waiting for him. It made several people nearby nervous.

“Ah, ha,” Michael said. He moved his remaining knight and slapped the clock to finish his turn. “What’s up?”

“Is Ted dating Tiffany?”

“Yes, she asked him out.”

“She did?” Katie said. She was a shy student who was always lurking near Michael, not that he ever noticed.

“She did?” Misty also said. She looked at Katie and looked back at Michael.

“Yeah, he told me he had no idea she might be interested,” Michael said. “She was always bumping into him and he had no idea she had been manufacturing those meetings for the last two weeks.”

Katie got her phone out and was taking notes on what was being discussed.

“How did the date go?”

“Ted didn’t give me any of those details. He did say they would go out again. Why do you want to know?”

“No reason. I heard a rumor and I was sure you would know about it.”

“I’m very observant.”

She looked at Katie who averted her eyes quickly. “That you are. Thanks, Michael.”

* * *

Misty saw Ted at his locker. He was talking to Darren. She knew nothing about Darren. It didn’t matter. She wanted to talk to Ted. She walked around the corner as if she hadn’t been standing at the corner for several minutes already. She was looking the other way when Darren said, “Look out!”

She turned to look and slammed into Ted. “Oh, god.” She fell backwards. Ted caught her before she hit the ground.

“Funny bumping into you, Misty. Are you okay?”

“You’re like a brick wall.”

“Only my head.” He helped her to her feet.

“I’ll just be going now.”

“Take care.”

She walked away unsure why she hadn’t struck up a conversation. She went into the girl bathroom and locked herself in a stall. “I’m the head cheerleader,” she thought. “Why am I intimidated by him?”

At lunch, she saw Kimberley and Ayla sitting with Tiffany. She hurried over with her tray.

“I heard you’re interested in Ted,” Tiffany said.

“Did they tell you that?” Misty said.

“No, he did. You can have him.”

“What?”

“We broke up and I don’t care if you want to date him. He’s... odd.”

“Odd how?” Ayla said.

“You know the rumors about magic?”

“No way,” Kimberley said.

“Yes. He cast a spell on me. The magic was cool and I can’t really describe what happened next. But, when he wasn’t paying attention to me, I got bored really fast.”

“Can’t describe what?” Kimberley said.

“How’s she going to describe what she can’t describe?” Ayla said.

“The spell makes it so you can’t move.”

“Kinky,” Ayla said.

“And then it heightens pleasure.”

“Sexy.”

“But, when he wasn’t touching me, boring as fuck.”

“Was he surprised you broke up with him?” Kimberley asked.

“That was the damnedest part. After the spell ended and I could move, he says, ‘You didn’t really enjoy it, did you?’ I was, like, ‘I couldn’t move. How could you tell I didn’t like it?’ and he says, ‘Wizard stuff.’ We talked at length about having a relationship and since I didn’t really want to do it again, I told him we should separate.”

“And he was cool with it?”

“He said he’d find the right person eventually.”

“I want to find out about this not moving,” Ayla said.

“Why?” Tiffany asked.

“Being tied up is fun for some people.”

“You?”

“Obviously.”

“I’m into the idea, too,” Kimberley said. “What about you, Misty?”

“Misty?” Ayla said.

Misty couldn’t believe Ted could make something she thought was a pipe dream a reality. She had checked out of the conversation when Tiffany had said, “It heightens pleasure.” Misty responded, “Oh, yeah, bondage is cool.”

“Let’s go see Ted together and have him cast a spell on us,” Ayla said.

“Together?” Misty said.

“Yeah, you seem to bump into him a lot,” Tiffany said. “Maybe one of these two will actually talk to him.”

“I…”

“Don’t bother, Mist. We know you get tongue tied around him,” Ayla said.

“She wants her tongue tied to his,” Kimberley joked.

“Can he immobilize himself and her when their tongues are tied?”

“Boring,” Tiffany said.

“I’m betting it wouldn’t be for her,” Ayla guessed.

Misty was aware someone was moving their hand in front of her face. “What?”

The three other girls laughed.

“Maybe you and I have Ted do it when she’s not there only if he promises to give her a private demonstration, Kimberley,” Ayla said.

“No, I want to see her orgasm.”

Tiffany sniffed the air. “She’s wet.”

“I… I am not!” Misty said, standing up.

“I was kidding,” Tiffany said.

Misty left the cafeteria. She went to a bathroom far away to masturbate. She threw out the panties she was wearing. She kept a spare in her bag for this reason.

“3… 2… 1…” Ted said. He sat down at in his desk chair immediately. The effort to transform the three cheerleaders into sex dolls required more energy than he was used to expending at one time. His head was pointed at the ceiling, his eyes closed so he couldn’t see the room spinning. A familiar voice spoke.

“You transformed all three of them at once?” Cat said. She was Ted’s sister. They attended the same high school, though she was a junior, not a senior like he was. “How was that possible?”

“I am a bit spent after doing it.”

“You could have put yourself into a magic coma.”

“It’s not like I cast spells often.”

“I suppose you don’t want me here once they’re fully changed.”

“Not particularly.”

“Libby is going to be disappointed. She told me this morning she wanted to play with me if you would change me.”

“Not today. I will need to change them back before they go home.”

Cat laughed. “Imagine if you carried them home like dolls and knocked on their doors. ‘Hi, Mrs. Edwards. Misty said she had a ten o’clock curfew and I don’t want her to get in trouble.’ And then you hand her the doll.”

“That would be funny until Dad got a phone call and wanted to talk to me.”

“Yeah. He is so stuffy.”

“I didn’t say it.”

Cat spun around expecting to see her father in the doorway. He wasn’t there. “That was mean.”

“Just tried to get you pointed in the right direction.”

“Fine, I’ll go. Enjoy yourself.”

“I intend to.”

* * *

“It was a little boring,” Kimberley said.

“I kind of liked it,” Ayla said. “You know, Ted, if you could do a few more girls you could throw the coolest party.”

“Assuming there were enough guys to make it fun,” Kimberley said.

“Yes. Right, Misty.”

“Oh, sure. Best orgasms I’ve had.” Her demeanor was subdued.

Ayla mocked her with a robotic sounding voice, “Yes, the orgasms were eighteen point three percent more intense than the orgasms I get with my favorite dildo.”

“Ayla!” Kimberley said.

“Twenty-two percent for you?”

“I’m glad you girls had a good time,” Ted said. “I’m tired and I’m sure you need to get home soon.”

Misty stared at Ayla and Kimberley, her eyes wide and pleading.

“Oh, yeah, we really have to go. You can stay longer, though, right, Misty?”

“Yes. Don’t worry about me.”

“We’re leaving?” Kimberley said.

“Yes, let’s leave Misty here alone with Ted,” Ayla said, winking at Kimberley.

“Do you have something in your eye?”

Ayla rolled her eyes and walked out of Ted’s room. “Catch you later.”

Kimberley turned to Misty and said, “You two have fun.” And she winked at Misty. She followed after Ayla. “I wasn’t really ready to leave though. Are you sure, Ayla?”

“They’re a cute couple,” Ted said when they heard the front door close.

“They aren’t a couple,” Misty said. “Although, Ayla can swing that way. And Kimberley will try anything. Like becoming a doll.”

“I distinctly recall her enjoying it the least.”

“I can’t imagine why. I loved it.”

“How hard was it for you to downplay it just now?”

“I may have internal bleeding from holding back my excitement. Do it again.”

“No. I’m out of energy. We could talk. I’ve heard you wanted to date me. Why didn’t you just ask me out?”

“I don’t know.” She sat down on his bed since he was in the way of the desk chair. “I thought I ruled the school with my head cheerleader powers. But, trying to talk to you was impossible.”

“You seem okay now.”

“We kind of had sex. It’s different now.”

“I see. Not a one night stand?”

“Only if by that you mean I would be your night stand.”

“Yeah, I thought you might enjoy it a bit much. That’s kind of why I didn’t encourage you to say anything to me.”

“What do you mean?”

“You would spend a week as a doll if I would do it to you. Do you think either of those two would do that?”

“No.”

“Why?”

“I don’t know.”

“Figure it out so I can understand.”

“Um… Okay. When I was a doll, I wasn’t… I mean, I was… But, at the same time, I wasn’t Misty. I was just a doll. I was totally under your control. Like you owned me. I wasn’t human. I was a thing, a possession. If you gave me away, I would be a doll forever.”

“Most people would hear that and cringe in horror and revulsion.”

“I suppose so. But, I loved it. I told my mother I was sleeping over at Ayla’s tonight. I can stay if you’ll have me.”

“Even if I don’t turn you into a doll.”

“I suppose I can remain a human being and spend some time with you.”

“Don’t hurt yourself.”

* * *

Misty spent a lot of time in Ted’s room over the next few weeks. More and more of it as a doll than he originally intended. In early March, they had a heart to heart. “I don’t think this is working,” he said.

“It’s working fine. What do you mean?”

“For you, it’s fine. You’ve gained an owner. I didn’t gain a girlfriend.”

“Oh.” She digested that for a moment. “You did gain a doll.”

“I don’t want a doll. I want a friend, a partner, a lover. Not that I’m seeking a permanent arrangement. But, I certainly want more than a doll. You said it yourself, you’re just a thing most of the time you’re here.”

“We could have an open relationship.”

“Open how?”

“I would be your fuck doll. You could see other women. They would just have to be okay knowing you own a fuck doll.”

“Are you sure? If we did this, I would treat you like a possession all the time. I would no longer spend my time in my room with you when I could be doing other things.”

“Oh, god, that’s so hot. Would you stand me up neatly in the corner? Or maybe you would just toss me in the corner in a heap until you wanted to use me? I’d love that. Please. Will you be my owner?”

“Sure. But, as your owner, I won’t let you miss school. And you better keep your grades up.”

“If I said, ‘Yes, Dad,’ would that make the whole thing weird?”

“Yes.”

“Then I won’t. Can you doll me right now?”

“Sure. Pose how you want to be.”

After she did, he said, “3… 2… 1…”

The next thing she knew, she couldn’t move. The room was dark. Ted was not there.

He didn’t return until evening. He picked up his doll and took it out to his car where he started the restoration spell. When she was herself again they were parked in front of her house. “No sex?”

“I didn’t plan it that way,” he said. “I became distracted at Burke’s house and almost forgot you had to go home. Not that you should be complaining.”

“I wasn’t complaining. I’ll come to your house tomorrow after I have my homework done,” she said. “Or I’ll text if it takes me longer than it should. I’m a little behind.”

“The scholarly edict may be new but it’s very important.”

“I agree.” They kissed and said good night.

She didn’t come back to his house for a week and a half as she caught up and got ahead in her classes. The next time he changed her, he used her immediately. He was going to just leave her a mess on his bed when her heard his youngest sister, Libby, outside his room. She was running in the manner seven year olds run no matter what the urgency of the situation was. “So much for that idea,” he thought. He cleaned his doll up and stood it up in the corner.

When he opened the door to his room, Cat was standing in the hallway talking on her phone. “What’s that cold draft?”

“I was airing out my room.”

She peered in and saw the doll form of Misty poised sedately in the corner. “Oh. Thanks for that.”

Having caught up on her homework, Misty would get a ride to his house with Ted, do her homework, and spend the rest of the day as a doll. They would usually drop Ayla and/or Kimberley at their houses before getting to Ted’s house. Ted would spend most of the drive chatting with Ayla. Misty would spend most of the weekend as a doll, as well.

As he had feared, he was getting bored with her. The Friday afternoon a week before Spring break, Ted and Misty were in his car watching Kimberley and Ayla walking into Ayla’s house. “You should go with them.”

“You don’t want your doll tonight?”

“I’m going out tonight. I’ll probably be home late.”

“That’s okay. I’ll stay in your room. I’m very quiet.”

“Are you sure?”

“I’m your possession. I don’t get to choose.”

“Right now, you’re a person. You do get to choose.”

“I think I’ve stated my choice.”

“Okay.”

They did some homework together for an hour before he changed her. To the doll’s surprise, he moved it into his closet. The doll could only see a small part of the room through a crack in the door. Owner had said he would be busy. Doll could wait for time with Owner.

Doll heard Owner getting ready. He showered and was putting on nice clothes from what Doll could see. He turned the lights off when he left. It was nearly pitch black in the closet. Doll had no sense of time. Though, Doll usually had little sense of time.

Later, the lights turned on. Doll heard Ted whispering. A woman was also whispering. The sounds of people making out reached Doll’s ears. Owner had gone on a date. Through the crack between the door and the door jam, Doll could see the bed. Owner and his date were on the bed and getting naked. Doll was turned on. Doll wished she was the woman in bed. Doll did not know who the woman was but thought Misty would.

Doll was happy for Owner. Owner deserved having fun.

* * *

Saturday morning, Ted took the doll out of the closet and made use of it. Doll was happy Owner was using it in the same spot he had played with the woman the night before. He changed her back afterward.

“What happened?” Misty said when she could move again. It was only then that Misty realized the woman Ted had had a date with was Ayla. “You went on a date with Ayla?”

“Is there an issue with that?”

“No. I said you should date.”

“Okay.”

“I just didn’t expect it to be Ayla.”

Ted raised an eyebrow at her.

“No, no. I know. I’ll call her later to tell her it’s fine.”

“Ayla and Kimberley are trying to convince me to have a doll party.”

“A doll party?”

“Six dolls are made available for anyone, guys presumably, to use for an evening.”

“That’s hot.”

“It feels like I’d be pimping.”

“Not a chance.”

“No?”

“Dolls aren’t people. We’ve established this. If they aren’t people, they can’t be whores either. No whores, no pimping.”

“Interesting. I’ll have to think about that. Spring break is next weekend. I’m guessing you’ll be spending most of it here.”

“I was trying to figure out how to ask you that. Yes, please.”

“Fine.”

Ted brought Ayla and Misty home from school that week. Each time, Ayla would suggest how Misty should be posed. Misty loved it. The third time, she was laying on her back on the bed with her knees bent and her feet flat on the bed. Once she was a doll, Ayla got undressed and sat with her legs spread around the doll’s face. Ted, also undressed, knelt with his knees to either side of the doll’s head. Doll got a close up view of Ted’s underside as he had sex with Ayla. The messy part of sex landed mostly on Doll’s lower face.

“Think she enjoyed that?” Ayla said as they lay on the bed cuddling.

“I have to admit. Rubbing my junk over her nose as I stroked into you was better than not having a protrusion there.”

“Protrusion? I’m sure she finds that flattering.”

“She’s a doll. I’m sure she enjoyed all of that a lot. She may even find being referred to as a protrusion hot.”

The next day, Kimberley asked, “What’s a fucking platform?”

Misty had just said she enjoyed being a fucking platform for Ted and Ayla. Ayla described what had happened the afternoon before.

“You are a freak,” Kimberley said. “Although, that did sound hot. Are you going to the party as a fucking platform?”

“Party?” Misty said.

“Nothing,” Ayla said, admonishing Kimberley with her eyes.

“What party?”

“We finally convinced Ted to have the party this Saturday,” Ayla said. “He told me you wouldn’t be attending.”

“Why?”

“That’s between you and him.”

* * *

“Why?”

“I don’t share,” Ted said.

I was the first time since Ted and Ayla first were intimate that she wasn’t in his room with Misty.

“And since I don’t share,” he continued. “My doll won’t be fucked by any other guys.”

“But, Ayla will?”

“She isn’t my doll. She can decide for herself. We aren’t exclusive. She can date other guys. I can be with other gals.”

“I would really enjoy such a party.”

“I’m sure you would. But, I wouldn’t if you were there. How do you want to pose today?”

“I don’t care.”

The resulting doll was the saddest looking doll Ted had ever created. He hadn’t intended to abandon his doll that afternoon. But, he felt bad when he looked at it. He left a half-hour later and didn’t return until late that evening.

* * *

In school after the weekend party, Ayla, Kimberley, and even Tiffany were gushing about the party until Misty sat down at the table.

“I didn’t see you at the party,” Tiffany said. The other two stared daggers at her.

“I wasn’t invited,” Misty said.

“I have to say,” Tiffany said well aware of what was going on. “I did enjoy it much better when there were several guys to make the time pass quickly.”

“Shut up, Tiffany,” Kimberley said.

“What? I was just…”

“Being a fucking bitch. Get up and leave,” Ayla said.

“Fine.” She left.

“Sorry.”

“Nothing for you two to be sorry about,” Misty said. “I’m glad people had fun. Ted was rather rambunctious with me afterward. No worries.”

“Are you sure? You seem a bit flat,” Ayla said.

“No. It’s something else.” She looked at Ayla.

“What?” Kimberley said.

“Ted asked me to the prom,” Ayla said.

Kimberley’s naturally joyful reaction was at odds with Misty’s expression. She clamped down on it. “That’s nice, Ayla. I’m hoping Burke asks me.”

“It’s fine, guys. Ted is doing exactly what he told me he would do.”

“Then why are you torturing yourself,” Alya asked.

“I don’t know any more. When he’s attentive, I’m riding so high I forget there are low periods. But when I’m low, it’s abysmally deep.”

“That can’t be good for you.”

“Probably not. I know.”

“What are you going to do about it?” Kimberley asked.

“I don’t know.”

* * *

“Oh, you’re home,” her mother said. “What’s the occasion?”

“Extra homework,” Misty said.

“You don’t do homework with your boyfriend?”

“I do. He’s busy today.”

“Well, if you have a couple hours, I can take you dress shopping this afternoon.”

“Dress shopping?”

“For the prom. He’s taking you to the prom, isn’t he?”

“Oh, sure. Of course he is.”

“I haven’t seen you in weeks. He treats you well, doesn’t he? I’m surprised you haven’t been bugging me about getting a dress.”

“It slipped my mind.”

“You’re still head cheerleader, aren’t you? You’ll probably be voted queen of the prom.”

“I don’t know about that.”

“Well, I do. Can you be ready in twenty minutes?”

“Sure, Mom.”

* * *

“I can’t take you and Ayla to the prom.”

“You don’t have to actually take me. I just need you to pick me up that evening and take some pictures for Mom’s benefit.”

“You want your Mom to think you’re going to the prom?”

“She bought me a dress.”

“When?”

“A couple days ago when I didn’t come over because of the History project I had needed to spend time on.”

“Does she know when the prom starts?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Tell her it starts an hour earlier than it does so I can still make it to Ayla’s house after we drop you off at my house.”

“You’ll do it?”

“I’ll regret it when something goes wrong. But, sure, I’ll do it.”

* * *

Doll stood in the dark bedroom. Doll was overdressed. It was one of the few times Misty could remember her own name when she was a doll. The entire time her mother preened and groomed her earlier that evening, her mother’s repeated speech about safe sex, the look of joy her mother had, all of it replayed over and over as she stood in Ted’s bedroom.

The door opened and the light turned on. Libby looked up at the Doll. “That’s a pretty dress.”

Ted’s little sister, Libby, sometimes visited Doll when Ted was going to be out for a long time. Doll almost expected her to stop by.

“You really like being a doll, don’t you? I hope I have a doll like you some day.”

Doll thought it might be better if Libby were her Owner. She’d probably play with me more, Doll thought.

After fingering the hem of the dress, Libby said, “Bye bye.” She turned the light out and closed the door behind her.

The morning sun rose as Doll waited for Owner to return. More hours passed. It was late afternoon when Owner returned. He removed Doll’s clothing and made use of Doll. This time wasn’t as fun as it usually was for Doll. Doll could not understand why.

When Misty could move, Ted said, “Your phone is blowing up. Tell your mother you aren’t dead and I’ll take you home.”

“How was your evening?”

“It was fun. People wanted to know where you were.”

“I’m sure I’ll be the laughing stock Monday. Head cheerleader who couldn’t get a date to the prom.”

“Yes. I tried to get you to stop being my doll so much.”

“I’m fine.”

“Are you?” Ted asked. “People already laugh about you at school.”

“I’m well aware of that. I don’t care. I’m enjoying my time with you.”

“I know you do. Is it enough?”

“You won’t just leave me as a doll.”

“You have to graduate.”

“And I’m sure I’ll thank you for that eventually. But, going through school isn’t easy when you’re laughed at.”

“You could end that laughing any time.”

“If I stop coming here every afternoon, will you promise to have me all summer?”

“I won’t leave you as a doll in the fall. I have to go to college and so do you.”

“Fine. Just make me a doll all summer and I won’t be a doll till graduation.”

“Are you absolutely sure you want want to be doll the entire summer?”

“More than anything.”

“I heard something interesting that I hope doesn’t apply here.”

“What?”

“I’m not responsible for other adults who ask me to do things I think are bad decisions.”

* * *

Graduation hats flew up into the air. Ayla, Kimberley, Tiffany, and Misty shared a group hug followed by group photos. Parents surrounded the students. High fives and self congratulations filled the football field where the ceremony had taken place. Sincere talk about staying in touch was shared.

The crowd slowly dispersed. Misty had been waiting next to Ted who was shaking a lot of hands and sharing a lot of hugs. When no one was left, he turned to her and said, “Right now?”

“Sooner if possible.”

“I’m not carrying you to the car. C’mon.”

They got in the car and she sat in a neutral pose.

He laughed. “I’m not carrying into the house, either. You can wait till we’re in the bedroom.”

“That’s okay. Can we stop by my house? I need to pick some stuff up.”

“Sure.”

After a moment she said, “Do you still like me?”

“Of course, I do.”

“Really. I think you’re disappointed in me.”

“I’m proud you never asked a single time to be changed since we made the summer arrangement deal. Do I wish you weren’t throwing your summer away? Yes. But, you’re an adult. You’re allowed to make poor decisions.”

“You’ve told me that several times. This is what I want.”

“You keep saying that. I have to believe you,” he said. “What did you tell your mother?”

“That I’m moving into the dorms early as I have a summer job at the college.”

“You didn’t get into RCU, did you?”

“No, I won’t be attending university with you.”

It took an hour for her to escape her mother’s questioning. Ted loaded his car with two suitcases. When they got to his house, he led her into the basement. “There should be plenty of room down here for all this stuff.”

They set the suitcases down in a corner.

“Are you my property again?” He said.

“Yes, yes. Finally. I can’t wait to be your doll again.”

“This is only for the summer. I leave for RCU in late August. After that, you don’t belong to me and you won’t be a doll.”

“That’s the agreement. For now, I’m your property.”

“Okay. 3… 2… 1…”

Doll was in darkness and silence. Doll had never spent time in this place before. It was the basement of Owner’s house. Doll waited. Time passed. Owner never visited Doll. Owner’s father stood in front of Doll. “I’ll give you a ride to your dorm as soon as you’re ready.” Owner’s father cast the restoration spell.

I wish I could say the flatness was a conscious decision. Anything else I would say, will probably be addressed in future stories.

Some engaging bits, but it feels oddly flat at times, too. I can see where that works for the story of a doll who's having trouble convincing the world (or at least Ted) that she should be one. Good timing for it too, as it somewhat helps explain Ted cutting off the dolls in the main timeline.
