AVN Madness
Added 2024-05-15 19:00:07 +0000 UTCI started writing an AVN. By which, I mean, I've put Ren'Py code (link for the curious and unknowing), a whole 11 KB of code, into an editor for characters of my creation and stole some artwork from deviantArt to serve as placeholder for actual art. The game is currently named The Hauntings.
The funny thing is when I mentioned AVNs here the first time, I thought an adaptation of Jane's and Emily's stories from Ted's Dolls would be appropriate for an AVN. But, the one I've started coding is completely unrelated to Ted.
It will not have any transformations in it. But there is sex and a bit of possession-based mind control. Otherwise it will probably "pass" as a mainstream AVN. The hook is a haunted house where 8 college students live off campus. Three of the students sleep in bedrooms where tragic deaths occurred and the ghosts of those poor women haunt the students there. And when I say haunt, I mean possess. And the main character of the AVN happens to sleep where their ghosts' Master slept. The MC will benefit from the ghosts mistaking him for their Master.
My plan is for the game to be small. Maybe 15-18 characters and an equal number of "rooms". As such, I hope I can code all the dialogue and game parts fully before seeing if I want to partner or hire for artwork.
Madness. Now I need to get my forgotten Python skills back up to snuff. I don't plan to mention this again until (or if) I'm ready to find an artwork partner.
