We already have a community over at our site, and I'm not really interested in splitting it in half, so this place will mostly just be used for uhhh, transactional purposes?

2018-11-17 11:46:04 +0000 UTCI absolutely do get that your point was first and foremost about not splitting traffic between here and the Fury but here's my more cynical more calculating side offering its opinion (cue how could you tell?) but what you could do is on the one end ask people to donate gator pics and post them here for free and using the percentage statistics effect (individuals are hard to predict, groups less so - it's how we do public health policy for starters), I'm sure at least a few would stop and think of chipping in a dollar who otherwise might not thought of doing so if they hadn't been right up to the front door. I mean, you know those people in supermarkets who are giving away free samples (often on toothpicks) of a product being advertised nearby? There might even be a stand or something with the product on display? There's never any compulsion to buy but you just <i>know</i> they're kind of hoping <i>someone</i> will. Must be working because people keep on doing this ...
