Jel's Cafe - Version 0.2a Release
Added 2025-07-21 15:56:29 +0000 UTCJel's Cafe Version 0.2a is now available to Tier 2 Patreon supporters or higher!
It's been a few months, a lot of work has gone into this build, there's still a huge amount of work to be done to the game, but it is starting to take shape in some places!
You can find the download at the bottom of this post, please remeber to link your patreon account to itch.io in order to download it! Save files from previous versions WILL cause issues, so do not transfer your save file over, thank you.
Here's some of the highlights from the changelog:
New Music! New music by ZLD1 and Elektrobear have been added throughout the game!
Updated Intro and Tutorial. New interactions, some clean-ups and some brand new scenes of all been added!
New artwork. Several characters have their starting sizes artwork complete! With Bliss even having art done all the way up to level 6!
Removed Props and added Themes. Still early in development, themes will redecorate the whole cafe instead of adding a singular prop like before!
Customer Log Book got some overhauls! It now looks much nicer (Still needs some work in places though!)
Shop UI's have been updated! Still also needs a lot of work, but most shop UIs now look much better in places!
The Cafe now looks a lil prettier! :)
Added Hell! ...wait what? (Exclusive to Story Mode)
A Mountain of Bug fixes! There's still likely more to come, so please point any out that you find or may think is a bug!

CAN YOU BEAT WEEK 7?!
...Seriously I need to know if its possible without cheating.
The game takes a few hours to beat, and I'm currently unsure if it even is possible to reach Week 7 of Story Mode, I've not had the time to sit down and fully play through it all. SO I am offering you a chance to help me out!
If you are able to complete Week 7 of Story Mode with a screenshot or video to prove it (And without cheating or abusing any unknown bugs) then I'll add an OC of your choosing to the game as a mini NPC that will appear outside of the normal gameplay. These characters will have some basic interactions and won't be like the normal customers.
The first person to achieve this will get two cameos in the game, one in the tutorial area and a second elsewhere along with any other runner ups! (I reserve the right to deny any characters I see unfit for the game)
This offer will be limited to the first few who are able to achieve this (If its possible). For now I'll say limited to 5! If it isn't possible to reach week 7 due to bugs or other means then this offer will simply remerge in a future build.
Even if you're unable to achieve this goal, reporting any bugs or providing feedback or criticisms will still add your name to the playtester credits should you desire that!
