Had he had a brother, who ended up being a big shot so much so to the point that his family forced him to do the exact same thing despite having the same skills, and kicked him out the house for it, hed probably end up showing the same emotion as Mai.

2021-02-24 21:44:59 +0000 UTCThis is how you do female characters in anime, not sakura style wallflower types Edit: Mai was hurt over her sister leaving her behind and breaking her promise, hence calling her a liar multiple time, shes scared of spirits and shit and was forced to be a sorcerer by the clan. She resent her sister cause in her eyes its her fault she was put through all this. I love the twins and i think they are beautifully written.
